I'm hunting for replacement AES cartridge slot connectors, anyone tried these? https://www.aliexpress.us/item/2255799982787679.html

Pitch is right and they have a 100 pin variant. Bit expensive, so wanted to see if anyone's tried them before I order.
I once purchased a 40‑pin socket for the Tekken 3 PCB. However, the 2.54‑mm pitch does not fit Tekken 3. I just checked that each 100‑pin socket costs only $1. The high‑expense mainly comes from international shipping fees.

Price in the listing I linked to is also for five units, so not as bad as I thought. Would still love confirmation that someone has used these in an AES build before I order though.

Edit: went ahead and ordered a set, will share how they seem once they arrive.

Both types arrived, will compare them against each other and the original (damaged) ones I am trying to replace.

Edit: first comparison between the two Aliexpress models 100 pin cart slots.

Both have the same part and manufacturer markings, but the top one without the stabilizing posts seems counterfeit? The logo printing seems off and while not easy to see in my pictures the pins are bare tin while the bottom unit is gold platted. This alone makes the bottom one seem like the better option as I would worry about the tin gripping the carts too much and be more susceptible to corrosion. I'll have to see if I can find some spacers (or 3D print some) since the mounting post holes on the bottom unit are not flush with where the PCB would be.

Not looking forward to desoldering the damaged parts from my AES, but if I get to it this weekend I'll post a comparison.

Not been in the right head space to try and desolder 200 pins, so still not tested these Aliexpress connectors... if someone state side is doing a build and needs a pair let me know, I have three sets.
