FS [WTB] FM Towns-II

Does anyone have a suggestion where to get Japanese home computers?

I'm interested in buying an FM-Towns-II, specifically the model with the vertical CD-Drive:

I don't need the monitor, though keyboard and mouse should be included and working. Joypads are a bonus.

I can do maintenance on mechanical parts and cleaning, though it should boot and run. I am UK based, though it'll probably need sending to Germany.

I noticed a few are showing on Yahoo Auctions as "junk", which can mean anything from "can't find the right cable" to "burned out husk".

Yahoo Auctions Japan is probably your best bet really. The early S/F/H models are really iconic with that vertical CDROM drive and looks sweet. But if the CDROM drive is dead, you have a rough hill to climb getting a playable system. So if you buy from YAJ, just make sure they list the CDROM as tested working.

Another option might be on the FM Towns Facebook page or at the nfggames.com forums (https://nfggames.com/forum2/index.php#c2). People sometimes sell working systems there and are English speaking so you have a better chance of making sure the system is working the way you want.
