beautiful work. count me in as an early adopter once this gets into full swing.

Tecmo bios COH1002M re-done now super clean same as the COH1002C.
Bloody roar 2 and brave blade cracked, uses unmapped area needs hardware testing,

Must re-do the other bios again with the new findings, the TGM error was a good thing, it forced me to go back and clean everything up ;)

BOM Be like, 4 logics and a connector lol

Primal rage be like 40754ACF in length and rom space is F7FFFFF in length :(
Some of that will be " junk data " but not much i think.

Unless the FMV's are massive and easy to rip out i can't see it being possible.
The intro is about 15 seconds, Atari games logo FMV about 6 seconds.
It's no big deal to skip that and jump direct to the title screen... <or show guidance screen, highscores or something>

I am not sure if there is ending videos for each character or intermission FMV's?
The sound is great, and the other graphics need to be preserved.

That would be pretty great to run Primal, even without the FMV.
I actually own a real PR, but God damn that PCB is HUGE and mounted to this equally giant metal plate.
When I run it I lean the board against the wall behind my cab and use a JAMMA extender. :P

I'm talking primal 2 ;)

Apparently the "area 51 soundtrack" is on the harddrive for no reason along with other "junk data"
I guess cleaning the drive up a bit would be a start.

I would think G-Net could address as much space as needed.
Personally I'm excited to support this work because I HATE CF media and won't purchase a G-Net.
I want everything on normal ZN1.

Didn't I give you that Naomi CF kit/adapter?
I gave it to someone... Thing sucked too hard to even ask 5$ for it (an embarrassment in my collection). ;)

Primal rage 2 = ZN1 , g-net = ZN2.
Full spec ZN1 is closer to original.
ZN1 and ZN2 have different CPU's and clockspeeds, it's not easy as it sounds from what i've tried on the capcom stuff.

Regardless:
cleaning the drive up a bit would be a start.
The lower the size the better, the drive needs to be explored.

File system is not too bad, here's an example:

LBA = 00079511 x 200 = F2A2200 = file prmgraph.out

Sadly this is only the 1st 200h of the file, the rest of the file is spread out.

I just need to find out how it knows to jump around the drive, the LBA blocks are in 200h length but not in a reasonable order!

the LBA blocks are in 200h length but not in a reasonable order!
Is this some crazy attempt at basic protection do you think?
Or are the predefined LBAs part of a larger compatibility issue (ie universal asset separation/orientation)?

It's not protection, just hard drive controllers are not my thing ;)
There is 2 other values that go with the "file" , primgraph.out looks like another index.
The first bit makes sense but then i get lost ;)

EXAMPLE

00079511 x 200 = F2A2200 = file prmgraph.out
0000004c==
00009718==

(data)

0007955A = above 0079511 + 49 = F2AB400

0007955b = F2AB600 above 0079511 + 4a!

00079512 00079511 + 1 F2A2400

00079515 - F2A2600 (+3??)

00079549 - F2A9200 (+38??)

0007955c = F2AB800 (+4b??)
