If you could somehow make the link work over a TCP/IP tunnel and put a RJ45 jack on the PCB, that would really be awesome!We hope to change that.
It should work fine if you add the connector. And since you only need to remove solder from the holes instead of a connector it should only take a few minutes to do. If it wouldn't add a ton in shipping I'd offer to put the connector on for you .I'll pass, its a really cool project tho and I'm glad you guys decided to go forward with.
