I just got in my first motion cab. It's relatively modern, from 2007 I think? It's currently not fully working, but I think I can work my way through the issues? I will be uploading images to a google photots gallery here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/LLLVN2ESEvtChqog8
So the first issues I have noticed are that it only came with 1 power cord, but the manual says it requires 2. What kind of connector is that on the left? That's where the power input for the motion base is, according to the manual. When I look inside the cab none of those 3 pins are ground. It's a Black, White, and Red wires coming from the pins? I'm guessing that means it's supposed to be 240v AC 2 phase? Or the color of the wiring is just wrong? In the manual it says that it should take in 120v AC and then convert it to 220 for the motion base?
So other than the power not being right, someone moved the cab halves while they weren't screwed into each other and that caused the scsi port to get ripped off of the motherboard on the motion base.
at least that one is just a standard scsi connector I believe. It should be easy enough to buy a right angle scsi connector and remove the old pins from the pcb. hopefully no broken traces or other damage happened.
And this molex connector got yanked off but again it should be an easy fix.
