What's new
Which model mvs do you have? I'm curious to see if you have the same as mine, which also has audio issues.

MV-1. Yeah i dunno. I fixed up the electric tape down there and resoldered the wires. I heard that maybe the Power supply could be the source of the issue. But nothing yet.

Ok, I have the very similar MV-1F. I also have the audio wired through the headphone port. I feel like when I had the audio running through the jamma harness I didn't have any issues with the sound. I wonder if there's a link there....maybe I should test that theory.

Jamma runs it in mono. Try turning your switch to mono and see if it persists. I really wanna keep the stereo tho.

Yeah I'm more curious if the audio issue is caused by pulling it through the headphones jack. I don't know how or why that would be the issue, but I'm at grasping at straws time. I'll try running it strictly through the jamma harness and see if that changed anything. I kind of hope that's not the issue because, like you, I want to keep the stereo.

Somebody I asked here theorized that it's in the headphones jack to get the stereo out. But lemme know how it goes.

So I'm still having audio issues running the sound through the jamma harness. Not as bad, but they're still present.

You had it switched to mono right? Maybe the darksoft just doesnt like this board. Shame since i dig the volume sliders

Yup, set to mono. I fear it is the board. Maybe a future firmware will solve the issue.

At this point, i hope so. Unless someone from the team has something for us. Ah well. Might as well wait. I really dont wanna spend fortunes on carts.... maybe sengoku 3.

I have similar sound cutoff issues with the Darksoft cart occasionally but the newer cart firmwares helped, and using the stock SNK BIOS instead of the UniBIOS helped. Also make sure your MVS board is getting 5.0V.

Will i still be able to have uncensored options on the US roms? Like blood and such? If i switch them back to SNK bios?

I use the Euro SNK BIOS. That’ll give you most things uncensored with text in English.

EDIT: Also, you can still switch the region in the Multi’s menu.

Hello everyone, i'm experiencing a weird issue with the audio timing on the game Over Top.

The audio is running crazy fast, anyone has any idea what the problem is? Sounds like the audio chip is overclocked or something.

Most games run fine, but this is one of the exceptions. I'm running the MVS multi on an Analogue CMVS slim, Uni 3.2, USA/Japan/Europe at Arcade all do the same.

It could be bad mobo. Have you tried with another one? Could be a bad contact in the cart too. Try clearing it a bit.

Thanks, i've tried cleaning the contacts, but same thing happens. Unfortunately i don't have access to another MVS to check it out.

I tried the 116-in-1 cart and it has the same issue. Guess something is wrong with the CMVS. It's weird though, most games run perfectly fine.

Thanks, that sucks haha. I'll ask around on the Neo Geo forum to see if they can pinpoint where to look on the mobo.
