What's new
Great

Thank you

oh another question. since you will try to do a menu inside the neo cart i wonder if you are trying to do this also for the cps2 afterwards if you succeed there?

and would it be possible to implement that feature afterwards.

thanks

What a second...is there a Canadian source for the CPS2 multi or is just being confused with Paradise arcade shop? I ask because I have a cps2 multi living inside of cabinet and would love to have a second for vertical screen shmups....dimahoo/19XX

it's just beeing confused with Paradise arcade shop.

and THANKS FOR PLANTING THAT SEED IN MY MIND NOW!!! :cursing: I was planning on just swapping it to the other cab or getting a Jamma extention but now ... 8|

There is no canadian source. Buy from Paradise before they run out. You've been warned :) these sell out pretty quick

Lol....not to take away from DS's sales, by discouraging you buying 2
multi kits....but that's why you have OTHER BOARDS...or even
better...when you are running the cps2 vertical...you can put in a
multi-stv or multi-neo *once released* (pushing sales for you DS :D )in the other one, and still be ok. :D

you could get both dimahoo and 19xx originals for the cost of a 2nd multi setup, just to run those 2 games.

what if he wants later on to have a 3rd game :whistling:

2nd kit is the solution

oh I bought the neo geo motherboard already ... just waiting for that "pre order" to appear! :D

Really? Where can I get Dimahoo and 19XX for the cost of CPS2 multi? Let me know and I would gladly just pick up those two boards. Resurrected ones even.

Is there any definitive list on which CPS2 games came on Rev. 7 boards with gpal?

Sorry Darksoft :D Not trying to suggest a non-purchase...just trying to help a fellow save a buck or two, as the hobby is known to many for getting out of hand quick.

segashiro - have seen both 19xx and dimahoo both pop up at the 200$ price point over the past 6 months....keep eyes on AO, Neo-geo, and KLOV. That being said, I was counting 400$ for a multi, by the time things were said and done.

Neo-geo just had a full multi kit ready to go, sell for 360$ shipped....so there's always that option i guess.

Don't think there can ever be a definitive list. Capcom modded older rev boards as newer games were being published. At best, it is a good estimation.

But if it helps you out any, I tried giving a MSH rev4 board the Darksoft multi makeover. Couldn't get it to work right (wrong audio cues playing). I managed to pick up a dead MvSF board and it was a rev7 board with the right pal. So by that logic, I'd imagine somewhere between MSH and MvSF there was a hardware revision. When I was having all the issues with my MSH board, someone recommended I pick up a MvC board. I got lucky with the MvSF board sourced locally. But I have yet to hear a report of a MvC board not being the correct rev and pal.

Good luck brutha, let us know how it goes.

Ordered mine last night from Italy. Looking forward to installing in my CPS2 which will also be arriving very soon. Only trouble is that I dont really want to kill a board although it seems most are now able to be resurrected with an Arduino. I have looked across ebay and other sites, but nobody sells suicide PCB's!!!! If I am wrong, then please do point it out to me.

Cant wait to get another arcade system running. Addictive....
