I didn't visit the forum for some weeks, am I missing something? Is the multi already on sale?

The first few on the list are my tester type guys / supporters who paid in advance, they will all have the kit very soon.
The romset is still ironing out the kinks / getting updated often so not quite ready but as you can see - moving along good :)

There is also a remote board in the works for this that will also fit the NA1 kit and a few other bits for projects that will be ordered at the same time.

How about a rotary dip switch?!
It can be modded or adapted later on anyone who wishes - the schematic is simple and i will post it up.
If you can find a rotary switch that has the same pinout just swap the part out.

The best is an onscreen selection but nobody wanted it for the NA multi and dipswitch was settled at the time.
My focus now the hardware is ready is on adding games, clearing up and getting this one and whatever else to the people!

Yes the 1A (romboard) style is what is needed for the multi.
Any region is OK!

As for the clock upgrade, it's worth the time and unlocks some a few more games.
The higher speed has no effect on the older stuff only smoothness and can easily be rigged to a switch if you prefer the older games on the slower clock with original lag.

I posted a standalone guide on the overclocking here:
https://www.arcade-projects.com/threads/jaleco-megasystem-1a-16-bit-overclocking-guide.18921/

Thank you for clarifying for me, Hammy. Thank you for creating the overclocking guide. This is really helpful.

The clockspeed situation on this board is more messy than the CPS1 as there was 3 different configurations made and the hardware got expanded over the years

:
6mhz factory = the normal 1A games, legend of makai and most of the bootlegs.
8mhz factory = EDF , Avenging spirits (phantasm) , peek a boo.
12mhz factory = big striker, chimera beast, 64 street, cybattler.

Peek a boo is half done and likely next supported but we need to find the pinout / documentation on the trackball / spinner connector on this motherboard.
The trackball connector is obviously the 26 pin connector, as kickoff gets into more hands i'm sure it will get figured out.

The other unsupported at the moment games will need extra hardware attached to the processor for the extra sprites so use a good socket if you do actually go ahead with a full replacement ( a sandwich / upgrade PCB may happen if i can figure it all out...._

Cheers guys !
Things were start to move little bit and few brothers received MMS1 multi ! My first thought after assemble and running every title from the released set was great feeling using these games ! Is overall a beautiful multi by @caius & @Hammy 👏🏻
Anyway , you need to write alot of eeproms and you must be armed with alot of patience to write 33 x 27c080 (167sec / chip took in my case) , 3 x 27c322 , 1 x 27c512 ✌🏻

Here are few screenshots (not the best i can make) ive did during testing the eeproms used on multi pcb

great!!

Did your multi run Legend of Makai ok? Mines busted. Tested on two motherboards.

Yeah seems those stray tiles got into the rompack somehow, @AlxUnderBase will be on testing again when he gets home :)

A glitch in the PROM dump of inyour face was found by haze and fixed by dink:
https://github.com/mamedev/mame/commit/fcec9dd94ac4c3d392587c53af866cc55203d1d8

Added / fixed, @AlxUnderBase test video here:

Original error was a character missing on the cut-aways (thanks to haze for screenshot)
(LEFT GOOD, RIGHT BAD)
