About the problem that you have, the answer is in your own question. My carts all have Standard SH2 and you downloaded the CUSTOM SH2 and you need the STANDARD SH2. Try that and I'm confident it will work.

You can send it to me and I'll convert it for you for a small fee. Given that now sending things in or out the EU is a bit of a pain, try to get someone local first maybe. If you can't PM me.

So i was able to get the help of my friend Drewdos. At the bottom i added a link to file 30 for CPS3 file set.
Download file 30 from the link below, its pretty much FC2 files 3.0 / 3.1 / 3.2 / 3.3 NO BACKGROUND MUSIC converted back to CPS3 format (file 30).

You will need to use your ISO file on your computer. Open it up using a program to browse the ISO (i use magic ISO).
Replace the file 30 you have in your current ISO, with the 30 file you downloaded from my link.
Then just save that ISO and place onto your CD or SD card.
Next on the Darksoft Menu
Select Disk&Files
Select File 30
Select Write to flash memory
Select SIMM 3
START OFFSET =00000000

After complete , should just be a simple reset of the game and all done.

I'm super dumb; But I'm pretty sure that you've written a guide for get SF3/3 Windescreen running on Ultrabios with standard Simms
Have I understood correctly?
Getting pretty excited about this!

Whoops, got carried away there - The guide you have written is super cool and interesting, CPS3 was an odd creature to be sure, so much security layered into the thing for 6 games. Can't help but think they had bigger plans for it

It would be great to have this bios also available for the other regions like ASIA, EURO, BRAZIL, HISPANIC, etc ;)

Or does the actual NOCD Ultrabios replaces it's functionallity?

My SCSI CD-ROM drive died and having the hability to run the current game loaded on regular simms without the need of the CD drive would be a great solution (for those with no need to change games off course).
 
Finally, just got my hands on Ultra SIMMS.
Before the installation operation, I guess I need to update my cartridge to support Utra SIMMS.
From the installation guide, i understand I need to update 29F400 chip from my cartridge with new bios.
For 29F400 chip, which bios should I use btw CD and NOCD?
Because I have no idea about difference btw those 2, I am totally lost which one I should pick.

The files need to be converted to CHD in order to be played on MAME. Those CDs are ready to be played from the Real Arcade CPS3 setup. You need to have the Multi BIOS installed in your CPS3 cartridge.

If you also got the CPU in your cartridge changed then you need the HD6417095 version. If you just got your cartridge BIOS changed, then you need the custom.

*****NEW BIOS - UPDATED January 9th 2021****

New UltraBIOS released January 6th 2021. It fixes previous problems with joystick speed in menu and other few glitches but the most important feature is that it adds support for the NEW UltraSimm. This BIOS is still 100% compatible with the old one. You have a version for CD and another for NOCD. There are 2 versions. One that will only work with carts that have a STANDARD SH2 and another with carts that have a custom SH2. Be sure to grab the right one.

Which one should I download if im using the ZuluSCSI with a US 3s CPS 3 cartridge?
 
Is it still a original cartridge on battery or has it been converted to superbios?
 
You will need to find an iso of the original 3s disc then.
 
if you have the CD you use for the board, you can try putting it in your pc and ripping the iso and putting it on the SD card, that worked for me.

whats the best way ot ripping the iso in 2022? Sorry I'm extremely new to this.

The CPS3 CDs have been dumped previously - if you search for MAME files for the game you want you can get the ISO from there
