CPS1 Multi. Official Thread

Mister fpga can do original resolution & be lag-free but can it or does it sound this good? (played on CPS1 Multi, sounds so good, recorded off-screen on phone).

There's a solid reason I love original hardware.
Fpga can be a mixed bag depending on the programmer/how accurate it can be.
Original hardware just works.

There's nothing wrong with playing however is affordable as long as you are happy with it.
Nothing beats original though, imho, and I am very sensitive to bugs or glitches.

Is this sd card ok for the Multi ?

8gb or 16gb Class 10 of others brands will cost the same

I would imagine so.

I've lost count of the number of these exact cards I've bought; every flash cart/multi/ODE gets one of these as a bare minimum unless bigger capacity is required, and then I just buy a larger version of the same card.

Incidentally, anyone know of anything useful to do with those micro SD to full size SD adapters? I've got a drawer full of them... :D

Which one are you using with your CPS1 Multi?

I can't check my multi as I'm at work, but if I had to buy the card, that's what I will have bought. The multi kit might've come with a card, in which case I would've used that.

The speed of the micro SD card isn't critical to the functioning of the multi as it just gets read during the flash programming so you don't need a uber-ultra-mega class card, unlike say with an ODE where the disk image is constantly being streamed from the card. Literally any card big enough will work, I just buy those SanDisk cards as a baseline as they're cheap and work everywhere.
