The issue doesn’t happen with the jamma IOsI have my New Net City (sega jvs io) linked to my Blast City (sega jamma to jvs io) and I haven't encountered this that I can recall. How long does it typically take to crash?
Are you able to replicate the issue @nem on your setup ?
I think it is reading correctly. Next time it freezes, I'll connect it again to see if I get any signals.
The TD-IO has a built-in sic437a to provide 3.3v at 7A from the JAMMA edge. It's a bit like the Capcom I/O except it can run a netboot setup (if heatsinked)@Big_P Big_p which 3V3 regulator are you referring to ? Got a picture ?
I have reported this as an issue to the project githubSome potentially helpful data from me...
It's been a very long time, but some friends and I used to run 1-2 pairs of CVS2 on various combinations of cabs off GD-ROM for up to 8 hours, never had issues.
I'm far from an expert here, but I was also starting to wonder if it could be some weird bug in the game itself that may be causing issues with certain JVS I/Os. The issue with the td-io is interesting, and I wonder if it is worth reporting as an issue to the project GitHub?
