DARKSOFT Darksoft's MultiMVS Latest Firmware, Menu and Instructions

This looks good. Maybe remove that fpga.bak from homebrw1 just in case.

You can also copy from windows the menu from /updates to /games

Now power it on, wait at least 30 secs for it to copy the menu and it should reset automatically and boot.
Same issue, no change.

Is the /menu folder in /games now?
Did the /update/menu folder dissapear?
Did you try with a regular cart? and with a different motherboard?

I created the menu folder in the games folder and manually moved the files over.
The update/menu folder did not disappear.
This is the only cart and motherboard I own. I purchased the motherboard from a reputable seller specifically for your cart.

I'm going to use a different card and see if that helps.

That is definitely wrong. It should be deleted.

Can you try copying there the firmware file called flash.img

I'm suspecting now that your microSD is not recognized.

I tried a second memory card and got the same results.

Where would you like me to install the flash.img file?

In the \update folder of the cart.

If that doesn't work, let's see if our skilled friend @Mitsurugi-w can have a look at it.
Does this look correct?

Or would you like me to add all these files too?

Do you want me to include menu in update as well?

Don't include menu folder and yes, only.flash file is OK. Try it and see if the file is deleted. Btw are you using a Mac?

Ran it again with flash in the update folder. The screen went white and then it went back to the same image I've been seeing. I brought the SD card back to my PC and the flash file is gone from the update folder.

That is good news. Put the other 2 files (top and cpld) and see if it does the same please.

Then you can try with the menu folder and it should also dissappear after a successful update.

While you have your microsd in the PC, please check for errors in the card.

Do you want me to run the other two files without the flash file? Or would you like me to add the flash file with the other two?

Scanned the card and found no errors.

Yes, that.
I ran the two additional files and they were removed from the update folder.
I have tried running update\menu (with the appropriate files) multiple times and the files remain in the folder.
I tried a 3rd memory card. 4 GB, SDHC, Class 4. Decided against using the standard MS format option and used SD Card Formater instead. Tried to run the menu update again and no change. The files remain in the update\menu folder and the pixelated image remains.

I will reach out through DM for next steps.

Hi
My multi MVS works well with a Fw and menu from 2021 I think. Should I do the update ?
Cheers

If it works.....don't touch it LOOOL
Seriously, if you have the files at hand for the current FW, top, and menu then you can try. Worst case you roll back.

Menu and firmware usually.go together. Latest improvements were the 3 homebrw folders and some minor fixes.
