the directory structure looks solid. If it did a proper update and the files placed in the \update folder were deleted, that means that the microSD is read properly and the contents too. You are not using a microSD XC, are you? Multi only supports SDHC. Try to search for errors in the microSD from Windows. Right click and Tools, then check.
Can you show me the files that you copied in the \update folder as they are when you put them? Just for the info, you can delete, no need to make again an update.
I guess you just troubleshoot an MVS that had that problem, right?Make sure you put ONLY the files from that update pack in the update folder on your sd card. Not inside an additional folder. All files need to be extracted. Don't place a zip file in the folders.
The menu files need to be in a folder called menu in the update folder but the firmware files should not be in another folder. The menu folder should just be called "menu" and not "menu_202303......"
I included the files in the link provided. Is there anyway you can check if the files are correct? ThanksYes, "homebrw1" folder is right
I guess you mean 4GB4 TB in FAT32 format.
Send us a picture of your microSD folder structure please, including what is inside 2 or 3 of the folders inside /games.I created the games folder and added a handful of games.
There is no need at all to make an update if it's from the last batch. It has everything that you need.I eventually created an \update\menu folder and installed the files in that folder.
Here we come!Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you, @Darksoft I appreciate you helping out.I guess you mean 4GB

Hi Darksoft,hmmmmm..... the homebrw1 folder should be also inside games and just place the files there, if you make another folder inside homebrw1, the multi won't be able to see it. The homebrw1 folder only supports 1 game, like every other folder. So it should look like this:
/games/hombrw1/crom0
/games/hombrw1/fpga
/games/hombrw1/m1rom
/games/hombrw1/prom
/games/hombrw1/srom
/games/hombrw1/vroma0
I noticed that your games folder doesn't have the menu folder inside and that's probably the reason why the multi doesn't boot. The best you can do is to put the menu in \update\menu and power the cart. It will update the menu and copy it into \games\menu. Show me a picture of \update\menu before doing the update.
Ok, I did what you asked and will try running it again. This looks good. Maybe remove that fpga.bak from homebrw1 just in case.
You can also copy from windows the menu from /updates to /games
Now power it on, wait at least 30 secs for it to copy the menu and it should reset automatically and boot.
