DARKSOFT Darksoft's MultiMVS Latest Firmware, Menu and Instructions

Sorry for asking about this if it's been explained already in this thread, but I noticed in the v2.3 guide there is a link to a youtube video that demonstrates how a multi-slot board should have all of the slots populated along with the Darksoft cart, did I understand that right? If so why is that? I have a 2-slot but no other cartridges, if I should get one I will, to stick in slot 1 or slot 2, whichever is recommended.

I'm currently using a 5 volt 4 amp supply.

You don't have to populate all slots. If you use just the multi it will boot to cross hatch. Just wait a few seconds and hit B (think, Maybe C?) to do a soft reset and it will work.

Oh I don't have to press any buttons, my 2-slot automatically boots with the Darksoft alone, I just asked to make sure I wasn't damaging anything.

Ok cool. You won't damage anything just running the DS cart.
