DARKSOFT How to convert a Xbox PCB to repair Chihiro

I would like to repair my Chihiro, do I have to have MCPX2 in both cases or is MCPX3 fine? I didn't understand this, thanks

If you have mcpx2 just flash it add ram and good to go.
Though these are extremely uncommon.
Mcpx3 requires more and the cracked bios but easily obtained.

Qualcuno può aiutarmi per una conversione Xbox con chip mcxp3? Grazie, non ho capito come si fa

Hai tutti i file necessari nel primo post. Sono per MCPX X3. Leggi di nuovo il primo post.

Contact @irepairsega supposedly if you want someone to do it for you.
I'm planning to do my own mcpx3 conversion if I cannot fix the stock mcpx2 board and it's involved.

Just thought I would add another successful conversion to the list. Thanks to all involved in getting this working.

^ Pictures would be helpful. I have some donors here that caps and rework didn't revive.

There's nothing special with 1.0's, you just need the USB riser -- the MCP requires it.

The v1.0 is the only one to mount this small additional PCB of the inputs.
It must be absolutely kept on the chihiro conversion, otherwise you will have the error 02.
This small pcb mounts an oscillator crystal and other logic.

I have a private version of this that I've modified to remove signature checks and some over stuff, and while looking over it we don't apply the correct 128MB patch, so any memory accesses over the 64MB boundary aren't cachable, this really slows things down. So, if anyone knows who made this, or you're the person who did, feel free to DM and I can tell you what needs to be changed. :)
