Instructions:

This zip file contains two further zip files with the gerber files for the program and character PCBs. You can upload them directly to a PCB manufacturer of your choice, I used https://jlcpcb.com/ , but anyone should work really.

The program board will have 4 layers (a ground and power plane in the centre) and the character board will have 2 layers.

Settings:
- PCB thickness: 1.6mm
- Surface finish: ENIG (this is a chemical gold plating process)
- Gold Fingers: Yes (this adds a process for gold plating slot connectors)
- 30 degree chamfer: Yes (This adds a bevel to the slot connector)
- with jlcpcb you can set "remove order number" to "specify location", which should move the production code under one of the EPROMs.

The remaining settings can be left as a default. I selected a red solder mask to make the PCBs stand out, but any colour works. Colours other than green cost extra.
Some processing costs are per-order and not per-pcb, so ordering more PCBs will amortize those costs. Also keep an eye on shipping and overall costs, depending on where you live packages over a certain amount of money may cost more import duty or taxes.

If you're curious, this is more info than what you'll ever want about manufacturing options:

There you go. It would be great if a volunteer could try this in case I forgot something.
Thank you!!!!

This is an awesome thing that you have done, thank you very much!

I can confirm that the instructions are great and that with them, I am reaaally tempted to order some even though I already have them... :whistling:

Certainly something you were never required to do, sir.....but everyone is grateful that if you are not in a place to keep up with sales, that you've released the files.

Thank you for the set I've purchased from you years ago, and thank you again for making them public.

I have neither, and my costs (and some new equipment) were covered by sales.

I understand that but, you took your personal time to make this and you agreed to send it to us.

I think we HAVE to thank you
