Interest Check: Repo Restrictor disc for Gundam Stick Monkey Ball joysticks…

No worries, I basically doubled the initial interest check quantity so that there is inventory for anyone late to the party.

Behold:

I'm going to run these through an ultrasonic, dryer, then packaging. I'll being taking orders/shipping before the end of this week.
Looks great! Can’t wait :)

After way too long:

Printing is the best option currently, but since it was brought up, I will be injection molding reproductions. They will be blue light scanned and as 1:1 as possible, with variable shaft options. It will be Q4 or Q1 2026 (another molding project supercedes this)

In the mean time, nnap is who I would talk to :)

I received one of the production samples made by @plasticfactory.

It definitely looks and feels the part. The black disc in front is a chewed up, original one.

Installed in, fitment is perfect. It's ready to be abused. I run an arcade and Monkey Ball is fairly popular here, so we'll see how it holds up! My guess is it's going to take months to see wear on it though.
Hey @nem could you advise the areas that need grease applied on the stick? I'm going to clean everything up and wanted to make sure I hit all the needed parts.

Around and under the disc, around the rotating plastic cylinders. Basically everywhere you have plastic moving against other plastic or metal.

I actually regreased the Monkey Ball stick not long ago. The repro disc was completely unscathed.

Cleaned the stick and applied grease as per @nem's suggestion.

I'm wired directly from the Blast City cabs I/O into the SEGA JVS I/O. Stick is connected directly to the Op Amp then routed through the Blast. The 2K resistors have been installed into the cable connected to the stick (cable far left in photo below), as made by @Lemony Vengeance. A very elaborate set of wiring required to get the neatest result possible!

Everything feels fine, much better with a restricted stick. I didn't do playing before installing, so have no baseline to compare to, however I'm getting more restricted readings after calibration, here's where I'm sitting.

NOW H: 86H / 134
NOW V: 8FH / 143

LEFT: 5BH / 91
RIGHT: ADH / 173
PUSH: 60H / 96
PULL: B8H / 184

I couldn't find anywhere which listed solid readings for this setup anywhere and was wondering if this matches up with anyone else with the same setup, or how it compares to the original setup?
