What's new
Hm, I’ll take a look
I took a look, and I don’t know this processor at all unfortunately. So either someone else can take a look or I’ll get around to it again eventually because I would like to see it happen.

Got these yesterday. The turn around time was QUICK.

Ready to give some KI boards the Chief Thunder treatment.

(Get it? Because they look like tomahawks?)

You... DO know that that should be the official name, right? KI 1/2: Chief Thunder Multi or somethin like that lol

Herer are some Digikey part numbers for the 9 and 10 pin headers if you want to get all the parts in the same purchase:

15 pin: 2057-PH1-15-UA-ND
16 pin: 2057-PH1-16-UA-ND

hey @BladeZX have you been able to fit the multi board onto a KI pcb? Mine is having issues. it looks like the middle column of headers needs to be moved to the left slightly.

Which column are you referring to
Can u post a pic
Was the U98 ok?

While i was able to get the 8 roms line up and socketed, There’s a LOT of flex on both PCBs. The u98 rom is indeed misaligned

additionally, these headers are a bit tight.. it may be better to use something like this (circular pins, slightly thinner):

Digikey part #
16 pin: 350-10-116-00-006000
15 pin: 350-10-115-00-006000

in fact, this would be a better solution:

32 pin specialty header: 220-1-32-006

this would go on the underside of the board and slide into the sockets better than the previously shared headers. You would need to pull the single pin out to compensate for the "lifted" leg.

I confirm. It’s difficult to introduce dual board on mobo. But i success with additional parts (look at the pictures)

Whatever, thank you @BladeZX

@BladeZX help please. Could you tell us how connect A-B-[] (of master chief Edition board😸) to double micro sd adaptor please.
First, take away the switch ..and then? Am I right on the attached picture?
Regards

Just leave the switch on and solder to the other side
See the attached

@mthngn It'd be safer to remove the original switch, otherwise at some point you'll short A and B (when the sd card switch is in the A position and the PCB switch is on the B position for example). I'm not sure it's harmless for the selector.

as my picture...?

@mthngn in your picture, the wiring order is correct, but the switch on the dual sd pcb is still present. My advice would be to remove it.

Hey everyone- new here but I ordered some of the KI Multi-boot PCBs and got them int today. 5 to be exact.
The trouble is that I need the roms for it. Can anyone here burn flash those or recommend someone who will? Willing to pay of course or possible trade.

If anyone else is looking for one of these, PM. I should have at least 3 I'm willing to part with.
