There should be a way - I have 3dprinted a PCB (created a STL file) to check placement/fit, etc.I’m not that great with PCB design (noob) but isn’t there a way to print the layout on paper first?
I appreciate the files. I've made the edits and have ordered the PCBs. I'll let everyone know if they work.@raynex
Here are the kicad files
Yes that's how you can get those made , PCBway or other board manufacturer will take kicad files, then you have a choice of the many different options like pcb color , thickness , trace thickness (weight) , silkscreen and etc. Most of the manufacturers have decent turn around times.I was wondering where you buy this. lol pardon my ignorance, I've missed many pages of this thread, is this something you pay PCBWay to make?
If they fit good then please reshare the files for everyoneI appreciate the files. I've made the edits and have ordered the PCBs. I'll let everyone know if they work.
Absolutely. If they fit good then please reshare the files for everyone
Thanks

I've never done this before, there's so many options. lol if yours works out good can you share all the parameters you used?I appreciate the files. I've made the edits and have ordered the PCBs. I'll let everyone know if they work.
It'll be the default parameters when you upload the Gerbers to JLC. Very easy that way. The only thing you might want to change is the color if you don't like the default green.I've never done this before, there's so many options. lol if yours works out good can you share all the parameters you used?
I did a stream a little while ago walking through the board design process all the way through orderingI've never done this before, there's so many options
Ok, not the end of the world (obviously). I'm just slightly afraid I'd flip the switch while it's running, though I imagine that wouldn't be catastrophic and worse case would corrupt the "HDD".You can double the Roms and run a jumper wire manually but the double cf is a necessity/switch.
Oh yeah, no, that's why I put it in quotation marksI believe it would just crash the board.
No hdd needed with compact flash.
The hdd is why there's so many non working cpus because of the strain near it.
. Mine has the CF installed. So this would still be the way to go then? https://www.arcade-projects.com/threads/killer-instinct-dual-board.5929/post-301942
