question 2: jst are often a pain to get (there are only 104 now at digikey) so I've always loved AMP UP from Sega (https://wiki.arcadeotaku.com/w/Sega_Blast_City_Wiring_Guide and https://wiki.arcadeotaku.com/w/AMP_Universal_Power) because they have all the sizes in numbers. You can buy 10 of each and a bunch of pins and you're done!

The contacts # numbers are below. make sure you buy them in *bulk* and not Tape & Reel or Cut Tape .... ask me how I know
and yes, the crimper mentionned by @nem will work.

I forgot to ask - what is the metal connector to be crimped over the wire and inserted into these JST products?

SXH-001T-P0.6N for # 26 to #22 AWG

SXH-001T-P0.6N is low-insertion force type contact, for easier insertion/withdrawal, which would be less resistant to the vibration.

I want to purchase a 4 pin to 2 pin adapter for a noctua fan for my noir. I bought a 4 pin fan to micro 2 pin but that wasn’t what I needed.

That does not look like JST VH.

It's a connector for a motherboard fan? A cabinet schematic won't show connections inside a motherboard.

It looks more like the XA series. Check XAP-02V-1.
