This is going to be crazy... to have a all in one mvs cart.... amazing ..

will the all in one mvs cart have a shell or you will need a donor cart ?

and if it was posted before ... my bad

I was reading most of the posts(not everything as of this moment) but have you thought of starting a Kicksatrter or Indiegogo for this like these guys?(Links below)

That's a scam.. did you read the comments?
I second @brentradio 's comment
Wasn't a scam, just a cluster fuck. I eventually got mine, and it worked quite well. But yeah, Darksoft is doing fine his way.

Pity they never made any more. At that price it's like they are giving them away for free.

Both AES and MVS will come with a case :) I actually just got the shock case and the AES Shell from Hardware Magic. I'll post pictures very soon :)

And....don't worry guys, some people say they'll do this or that... I prefer to build a reputation with what I do instead of what I say I will do. :saint:

Well said. I can't wait to see the fruits of your labor and a chance to buy it as so many of us. Keep up the great work. :)

To make a mold for a plastic case costs about 40.000 EUR. It doesn't make sense for STV but HArdware Magic guy invested that money so he can offer AES Shells, not only to me but to many more people!

@Darksoft

Do you know what happens inside a MVS to AES cart (magic key) ?
And is there a chance your AES cart will support exclusive MVS games ??

Hmm why shouldnt support exclusive MVS games? Well, put a Unibios inside your system just in case :)
I don't know, there is a little bit of logic inside the magic keys and I don't know if the AES cart can also handle this part (at least I couldn't find any info about it in this thread).

DOes anyone know what the magic key actually does or what the logic inside is for?

I don't think this has anything to do with the magic key. I believe the magic key only makes it physically possible to connect an MVS to an AES system, thats all.

Yes the goal is that it will support the whole library, if the game runs in MAME, it should run on AES as well.

As I said, there is an IC in there which can be updated and everything ... there were also some scaling issues that were fixed via software, so it must do something for the AES that it couldn't handle without.

I hope it will !! :) Can't wait for it man !!

More pictures! As you can see, the second PCB is just a passive PCB.

Looking good DS, can't wait to get my hands on one!

What would be the functions of the 6 and 12 pin headers?

Top right (in picture 3.png) is a JTAG for the CPLD.
Top left you got a 12 pin header for the LCD Display and a SWD for programming the ARM.
