The cut out around the coin slot could be perfected more but it's good enough.

Got my sendcutsend cut Astros shelf in today. Really good service, and the price is nice at $35 for mdf.
I really love how they vacuum seal the wood onto a large sheet of cardboard for shipping. Definitely going to use them again as long as the prices stay low. Got too many projects, I’d be happy to offload some of the cutting ones to a service like this.

Finally ordered 1/2” dowels. Being a hopeless bozo, I ended up messing up two dowels with imperfect pilot holes before getting one right (albeit still not 100% straight). Insert meme of Patrick from Spongebob with the hammer and saw.

If anyone else is as useless as I am, I bet a 10” furniture riser would do the trick. Adjustable ones are best since 255mm is actually a little over 10”. They’re more heavy-duty and expensive than a PCB shelf needs, but monitor risers appear to top out around 6”.

Just hand cut mine. Somewhere to put my amp. It worked great.

Great mod! Finally got around to adding one of these to my NAC. I used @notsonic's file with SendCutSend. I paid a bit more ($55) for the .354" birch plywood instead of MDF, and it came out great. I cut down a furring strip I had lying around for the support, and attached it with a countersunk wood screw.

I permanently installed my Darksoft CPS-2. It was previously in a Jasen's case, which was a pain to swap in and out. That case wouldn't fit on the shelf, so I gutted it and put everything back into the original CPS-2 shells. I wanted to mount the A-board using the original metal feet, but it was wide. So, I drilled some holes directly into the bottom of the A-board case and mounted it internally with screws. The case was already in bad shape, so I'm not too sad about drilling it. Very happy with the result!
