What's new
The cut out around the coin slot could be perfected more but it's good enough.

Got my sendcutsend cut Astros shelf in today. Really good service, and the price is nice at $35 for mdf.
I really love how they vacuum seal the wood onto a large sheet of cardboard for shipping. Definitely going to use them again as long as the prices stay low. Got too many projects, I’d be happy to offload some of the cutting ones to a service like this.

Finally ordered 1/2” dowels. Being a hopeless bozo, I ended up messing up two dowels with imperfect pilot holes before getting one right (albeit still not 100% straight). Insert meme of Patrick from Spongebob with the hammer and saw.

If anyone else is as useless as I am, I bet a 10” furniture riser would do the trick. Adjustable ones are best since 255mm is actually a little over 10”. They’re more heavy-duty and expensive than a PCB shelf needs, but monitor risers appear to top out around 6”.
