6. Use as you would like.

!!!! Remember to check the compatibility and I/O requirements of the game you are trying to boot. !!!!

!!!! All dongles are pre-signed/bound to SD2PSX / PSXMemcardGen2 !!!!

!!!! Remember SD2PSX is not a micro SD card reader for PC so when deploying the civ.bin do not drag and drop the civ.bin where you drag and drop the firmware!!!!

- How to use
_______________________________________
1 . Power externally
2. Turn autoboot off in the PS2 settings menu
3. select the dongle you want to boot
3. Remove external power
4. Put it in your namco and Boot it like a real dongle

This should be possible because of "https://www.arcade-projects.com/thr...th-arcade-magicgate-support.32371/post-451920"

!!! I have a report of this not working through a third party multitap hooked to 256, so this warning will stay here until someone who has a PSXMemcardGen2 that is sanded down and doesn't use a multi-tap on a 256 confirms it working or broken!!!

Thanks this is awesome, it worked fine on 256 with a shaved sd2psx. I'll need to make a cheat sheet of what games are on what card/channel. Unfortunately I've discovered I got no sound on my 256 I need to figure out.

https://www.arcade-projects.com/threads/tekken-4-attract-mode-music-mod.29422/

All versions of Tekken 4 Attract Mode Music Mod with the additional widescreen patch ?

https://www.arcade-projects.com/threads/tekken-4-widescreen-patch.31841/

there is also one versions of Ridge Racer V Force Feedback Patch all version ?

https://www.arcade-projects.com/threads/ridge-racer-v-force-feedback-patch.27412/

Thank You Very Much :thumbup :

Now that you bring widescreen patch to the chat.

Since a loooong time ago I made a version of cheatdeviceps2 that works on arcade units.

Might work as a decent testing app when making widescreen cheat, saving you the hassle of modifying dongle contents over and over and over

1. Choose the folder that corresponds to the device you will use it on.
2. Rename one of the cards to whatever card you want and put it in its corresponding folder on the sd card
`` "e.g. MemoryCards/COH/Card1/Card1-1.mcd"``
3. Use it

If I remember correctly, Cheat Device froze on second boot on the 246.

As for testing,it depends if you can target other files besides the main game executable. For example the Tekken 4 GAME file contains most if not all of the game's code and that's where you would apply patches.

I personally built a version of Play! with the debugger attached and it made the entire process more simple but having an additional Cheat homebrew for the units is a good alternative for sure!

Yes, I'm aware of that and found the issue.

For some reason, the normal method to run KELF files (boot.bin in this case) is jumping to OSDSYS and triggering an error regardless of what I do. It needs investigation

can anyone help me?
Follow the steps above
4. Deploy CIV in the menu under PS2.

When I get here it says it can't find the civ.bin for the deploy?

and another, do I put the tekken 4 iso in the card 1 directory without renaming? the name of the game?

put civ.bin on the sdcard :)

You don't. This feature is not available for arcade systems, yet. - For namco it is only used to deploy security keys. - Launching ISOs is only avaiable for PS2 and only with a specific OPL version

I have a Namco System 246
so I can't use it?
Are you saying that if I had a PS2 I could use Tekken 4 in arcade mode?
