XeD and I are meeting up tonight to start boxing up the orders so they can be weighed and all the shipping quotes can get sent to everyone, sorry for the delay guys, Covid is messing everything up here. I’ve been short staffed at work so it’s been tough last few weeks to dedicate the time.

It’s all coming together though and can’t wait to get all the orders out, I appreciate how patient everyone has been.
Thank you so much!

Hey guys!

Another update:

1) all orders containing Gundam shaft bananas have shipped!! and tracking numbers have been PM to each person.

2) there is a small issue with the screws for mounting the OG Banana. Sega used security screw that are almost 1mm smaller than a standard button head. We scanned an OG banana so the holes ended up kinda small for a standard button head,, they fit, but once I added paint, the screws slightly scratch the sides of the hole. To prevent this I’ll be machining the screws down so there is wiggle room. Attached are some pictures of the OG screws and a Standard M4 screw (they will be stainless, I didn’t have them at time pictures were taken)

I think I can have these screws modified Mon-Tuesday next week then I can complete the remaining orders for shipping

I got a full gundam stick setup over the weekend and the quality is awesome!

I'm putting it together now and it took me a minute to figure out the op amp mounting solution. (maybe I missed it in the thread)

Its really cool what you guys are implementing but I am having issues using the provided pcb mounts in the setup since it is so close to the stick. My solution so far is to dremel out some recesses but if you make the metal mount jut out a little more then it may make installs easier for the next batch

Also, somebody please tell me if I am just doing this wrong :P

EDIT: or you can just snip the end off of the plastic cones duhhhhh

What about self stick plastic PCB mounting studs/standoffs and mount them in the stock location on the panel.

This seems to be the easiest, Alberto no longer adds studs to his panels.
Does this work for everyone?

I'll get him to make a tweak on the next batch. Thank you for the feedback

Here is a quick fix, m4 X 10mm button heads double nutted.

I was thinking to press in studs but it’s not worth the trouble, I would need to make a custom plate for my arbor press. Button head screws works all the same. Here is a pic of the studs (not pressed in)

I originally asked for studs off Alberto, but he suggested his mounting method.. I wasn't too fussed.

I can't make the op amp for a few months anyway until more parts are back in stock :(

For now, it'll just be direct to the IO

Very exciting, nice work!

What's the total cost for a complete wired panel? I think I'm interested in the next batch. Also just curious, what do the original bananas/panels usually sell for?

With everyone getting the used stick. What are people finding broken/warn out? I'm putting a repair kit together that include
The white/opaque square gate
Spring
The white collar
The grey pot spacer
The pot washer
C-Clip

It's a little pricey at about 75.00 USD. I know the square gate break quite often. The other item have a lower failure rate out of the small sample of used stick I have.

Just got everything up and running today! Can confirm that the SANWA JLK-GF2-EV works. A big thank you to all involved!
