What's new
Most of my units have

E9A46I3E v1.0b16 071113

There's also an older bios i found on one of my units.
bios.jpg

So that makes 3 different bios revisions so far

E9A46I3E v1.0b13 040512 i7 2600 works
E9A46I3E v1.0b16 071113 i7 2600 works (i7 2700k works for 300wins on this bios)
E9A46I3E v1.0b23 092614 << figureheads only so far (xeon E31290 works on this unit confirmed)

Can't help on the i7 2600k model though, i don't have that cpu, only the standard i7 2600, which works in either system.
please can you DUMP this firmware
E9A46I3E v1.0b23 092614

I sent you a pm with the link.

I take no responsibility at all if you brick your system. I don't know a lot about bios stuff, and i'm not 100% sure that the bios dump is full and correct.

If you want to take a look at the contents yourself, you can open it in AMIBCP4.55.0070 and it will show you the information about this bios. All the info matches the settings in the bios including the defaults when you reset the bios, but i don't know if this is 100% complete dump or not. I haven't attempted to flash this back to any systems yet. It's possible attempting to flash this to your system will brick it as there might be something else unique on your system that works in conjunction with the motherboard/security to make it work.

It was dumped with aptio 4 utility.

Let us know if you brick your system or not if you try to flash it!
don't worry, I have 2 type X3, I try on one and tell you the results

I make a copy of mine first, if something goes wrong I can desolder it and flash with a programmer

Thank you

Aldo

I just got in a Puzzle and Dragons Type X3 today.

Can I swap in a Pentium K and 8GB DDR3 from my old gaming PC build?

Has to be a Socket LGA1155 CPU so I5 or I7 that Pentium K is the wrong type its a Socket 448 isnt it ?

I have 16gb of ram on my ttx3. I comfirm that hardware side (i have the oldest known bios) they are fully supported, software side as Murray said they are only a "cosmetic" and expensive upgrade (yep, this kind of old ddr are damn overpriced exspecially if you want to obtain 16gb).

Thank you Murray, if you are so kind to send me your b16 dump will be perfect. Thank you so much.

Do you want E9A46I3E v1.0b16 071113 @Pa0l0ne ?

I can link that for you. I was going to cross flash one of mine just for science as well. It will definitely break the link between the game and the DMAC, and you'll lose your original HDD key but this is all original game issues anyways. I think it will work but until I test it i can't be sure. The DMAC/GAME link is only generic anyways, you can actually swap original GAME HDD's between the same type of X3 game systems and they boot fine. Which is really weird, but it does work. I've swapped a few Lord of Vermillion HDD's between systems and they still work fine.

Lord of Vermillion is a dead game anyways, the servers have been turned off so i guess it's ok to talk about it

Murray when I put your bios on mine, the system start and reboot continously, with a friend we are try to investigate on it

You need hardware way to have a full 8mb dump, anyway the 2mb core dump will have to be functional too except if you have failed to patch the correct updated microcode. When i have the b16 dump i can make some tests and reports here my experience.

@300wins i just got a 780ti reference and flashed that msi bios on to it, but t7, t7-2, and fighting layer all still crash. Have you tried those games on the v4 multi with yours? Wondering if I should just try hunting a 780 at this point.
