Completely agree with everything @Thrillhouse said. When you put the thing in the basket, you have the two choices. The B-XX option shows the correct board when you click it. Seeing now that yoh ordered through a third party, it is easy to see how this mix up happened. It is quite obvious to me that the more expensive one is the multi board. It is just like on aliexpress when sellers have different configurations.

Look on the bright side, those C boards were dirt cheap! I will be ordering the multi and a C board or two through a Chinese friend. The C boards will be great to have if I ever need to replace a B-21 chip. I could use one for my chipless Wonder 3 board too X/

Sounds like shipping was murderous - but that's not Lydz fault as far as I can tell. I can speak from experience in the burn from getting burned on shipping is almost worse than the burn of a defective product! I'm sure we've all been hit with that once or twice.

Cooler heads will prevail, and I think having someone who can communicate effectively with Lydz will be the breakthrough that we need. At the end of the day, we all just want our games to live once again, or live on for as long as possible! I'm sure once these initial documentation and supply issues get sorted, this is going to be an absolute game-changer for CPS1 collectors, at least until there are other options that better preserve hardware and software originality on the market.

Hopefully a new storefront, or a middle-man in the US can be established, again once the initial issues are sorted out.

All I know is that, right now, I've got three useless CPS1 boards in storage that can probably be made at least playable with either of the solutions that lydz is presenting, and for that I am grateful.

Slightly more on-track - huge thanks to @nem for pointing out that RomPatcher. Got a couple B-boards and random, mismatched "Capcom original" C-boards that I'm going to try that solution with. I somehow hadn't come across that yet!
 
If anyone else comes across a CPS 1 c board solution I'd like to know. I have a dead game with the dead b 01

you need to use third party agents like TBfocus.com if you dont have a local contact. Taobao is domestic market only.

Depends on the shipping, DHL is expensive but very fast, EMS is is around $25ish for say 2 cps1.5 boards. I forgot what they charge as commission. Not a lot iirc.
 
I used dhl for two cps1 games. It was not cheap at 75usd...but I got it in record time 3 days from China.
