i made that mistake first time roundSo I got everything set up I had to get a rpi4 hoping it would work. I plugged in the rpi to test before I hooked up to a machine but the screen just gets like.. unbelievably hot
Edit : Amazon sent me the wrong fkn screen vcc and ground are swapped
And do I need the 12/5v line plugged into ode I’m assuming
You need the ODE Simulator off Electric_monk , the programable dongle from Brizzo (this is worth having to anybody with a 2x6) and then the parts that blade listed for the pcb , put them all together and your away , and its greatHi : all
What parts do you need to build a kit. Is this pcb just the game selector & you need a usb multi dongle and another item also?

Ok- error seems to be:Hi @FrAshi - when you plug the raspberry pi into a hdmi monitor - what output do you see when you try to select a new game?

So actually it isn’t really working and it wasn’t the cable after all lol! Thought I had it figured out but nope.Definitely weird - glad you got it working most of the time! I have noticed that the whole setup appears to be a bit temperamental - better with a 256 though, compared to a 246!

I do have another, will try it out nextOn my bench, I use a CBOX to power the Namco 256, and in my cabinet, I use a arcade power supply, and then an adapter to provide power to the Namco. In both cases, I provide enough 5V rail so that that the Namco is stable. It isn't uncommon for my Rpi to say "undervoltage detected", but all of this isn't very power intensive for it. Do you by any chance have another Rpi you can test with? I haven't had a situation where the Rpi just froze up before.

Tried with my other pi, exact same issue - very inconsistent recognition of SYS2X6 USB device - about 5% of the time. Tried different data cables. On my bench, I use a CBOX to power the Namco 256, and in my cabinet, I use a arcade power supply, and then an adapter to provide power to the Namco.
