Super random - does anyone know the total height of a Blanc with the DBZB topper? It sits soooo much higher over the monitor, I was curious about the actual combined height.

So Red surround & black speakers is the first/older one Sanwa 720p, blue or red speakers with black surround is the slightly newer with Wei-Ya 1080p?

For the most part it seems so.
I think the red speakers with black surrounds are older than black speakers with metallic red surrounds. It seems like nothing is really guaranteed though. And I'm not sure where blue fits in.
My red speaker and blue speaker cabinets came with different 1080p monitors, but the one in the red is newer and was definitely replaced at some point. The red cabinet itself is almost definitely older since it has the fluorescent marquee light rather than led.

The seller in the UK sent me a picture & the blue has the Wei-Ya but looks like its VGA & DVI only am I right in thinking the V2 has HDMI?
It also has the usual front CP middle where you arm rests damage.

The monitor themselves are DVI and VGA, the cables in the Noir are VGA to VGA and a DVI to HDMI.

My red one came with the original monitor which was back lit with fluorescent tubes, although the image was pretty good I swapped out for a modern cheap HDMI screen.
in my limited experience you want to budget for a new panel, yours will be rusty and perhaps a new screen.

If I had to do it again I would not powder coat the lip the control panel sits on. The added thickness of the powder coat causes the panel to not be flush. I'll probably sand it down one of these days. The electrical tape along the panel edge doesn't help it sit flush either, but it's held up well and looks and feels a lot better than rusty crusty edges.

I had a LG monitor from Costco installed. Use 2 long metal brackets on each side with the same screws that come with the bezel. Easy install. Toss the old bracket. Just cut to size and drill two holes in each.

That’s a great simple solution, but you would have to make sure the monitor that you are using has a bezel/frame around the monitor.
If using a monitor that is bezel/frame free, the monitor would just fall forward and/or wobble around.
Source: Me, trying to mount a bezel free monitor in my red Noir with double sided tape and getting nowhere. I ended up making a one off wood mount for that specific monitor.

Since my Lindy has a recent modern screen I'm not too fussed about upgrading just yet.
As for the front panel maybe a bit of rattle can will be good enough

I was just thinking about getting some real arcade hardware this time around anyways the multi is nice but.

I think I might just scrap my bracket ideas and finally do that. Its been time consuming since I dont have a 3d printer/metal shop readily available.

Can any owners on here tell me what wattage these are so I know what step down to get here in the UK?
Ver B manual says 250w but the T6 one says 470w.

i found i needed a heavy guty one and use a Bronson++ 500 , i had a Bronson 250 and it would get really hot
