Naomi Pi 'WiPi Netbooter' - compatible with Pi 3&4

I final got IDAS working with a proper io. Just having issue with the card reader now. I got what was advertised as a prolific 2303 chip set Here but it don't seem to recognize it. It flash initialize once then fail. My guess is I have to get a different cable.

Just tried a Insignia NS-PU99501-C, no love.

Found my issue. This might have been mention before but I'll put it here anyway. The Naomi 2 need to be told to use the RS232 protocol. This can be done by changing the 7 jumpers under the cart on the main board to the following. Both my cable are working as it should. Also my 1st mistake was using a jamma to jvs (neither the capcom or Sega will work) you need at least a type 1

JP5 = 2-3 (close to filterboard)
JP8 = 1-3 (away from filterboard)
JP9 = 2-3 (away from filterboard)
JP10 = 2-3 (away from filterboard)
JP11 = 2-3 (away from filterboard)

Yeah that Stumped me at first too... should probably be more of a "Prerequisite" to the Card Reader Thread. I'm working on NFC now...
 
I'll make that suggestion. If I had a IDAS I think I would have come to the conclusion a little sooner. Now I can send this off to my friend. He should be happy with the setup

i have downloaded the Files but PART2 always gives error and it says corrupted data
Downloaded 5 times but still same Error. PART2 corrupted

and i dont understand, what is those .REV files inside Drive folder ?
 
Yeah I had the same issue, it's not part2 that's the issue, there's a zip file, and that contains section 5 or some other part, put all the parts into a folder and extract it into the .iso file...
Make sure you have all the parts, it helped me to see which ones were missing by taking (renaming) the end and just having 01,02,03 etc,.. to see what you need to find.

Don't worry about the .REV files. Just make sure you have all the .rar files in the one directory and use 7zip to extract the image

i have tried it with 7z zip but i dont have enough space on my C: drive
7z doesnt allow to change temp folders. So i couldnt extract it. I cant extract it into my USB Drive. X(

is there another way to extract it ?
i really hate when life is difficult like this :D

please somebody upload the IMG file ?

i really dont understand what do you mean my friend ?
 
tried in another pc and there is an Error with 7z zip too
it says part 2 , part 7 and part 12 corrupted. I donwloaded them again again and again but no luck
 
Have you got the latest 7zip? I've just extracted it with no issue.

Assuming all files are in the same directory?

Right click > 7zip > extract here option?

i beleive it is anot about winrar or 7zip
there are some corrupted data.
 
It's not a full release, only an update package I'm afraid. The files are obviously getting corrupted on download, can you use a download manager or something?
 
ok new problem
somebody uploaded the main IMG and i burn the image with win32
I put the sd card on my RASpi 3 .

But there is no network created :(
i tried it with Naomi and Triforce, same problem :(
