It seems like this isn't compatible with Virtua strikers 2000 on Naomi. I keep getting no IO error. I tried steps to disable JVS data signal level adjustment but no luck.
Figured it out, If anyone has any issues with error. It ended up being my the USB cable to the IO. I changed to a newer one it worked fine.

How would I go about powering this and a netboot setup? I have this wired up to cn12 for power, would I need to split it to power up a pi?

Given that the MP07 IO is going to be powering controllers (and potentially controllers with batteries that charge), A solid 5V line would be recommended. The CN12 header is basically a direct connection to the JVS power input connectors, so I would wager you may get away with taking 5V from there. My only concern would be that a NAOMI, Dimm, and now Pi is already drawing a fair amount of amperage. But, if voltage stays above 5v with everything hooked up, and the PSU doesn't switch off/the NAOMI doesn't crash/become unstable, I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Thanks kindly to everyone who purchased. The demand for this little device was well and above what I imagined. I won’t be doing another batch for a little while, but have a couple hanging around still if anyone needs.

Sent a DM regarding stock levels.

Thanks

On-hand stock is zero, it's been a real busy month for sales on the store.

Good news is that PRE-ORDERS ARE OPEN FOR BATCH #4.

These will be v2 boards, the same as the last batch. Units have been reserved already from Toyoshim.

I'll be in touch with payment details for those who have PM'd me, and for those that would like in on this lot, just drop me a PM and we can take it from there.

I'm shipping these tracked, worldwide (except for El Salvador which has crazy postage rates).

Got my V.2 with FW 1.35 and works great on Naomi with a Venom PS3-PS4 fight stick. To change button lay out, hold service+test on the board, LED flashes, press the buttons from 1-10 coin and start included, then press service, turns off LED and press service again, turns on LED and you are good to go. This little thing rocks! Thanks Sheep! 😊

So I got 2 of these male to male USB adapters and keep getting an IO error but it works perfectly fine when using a actual cable. Is the IO picky about cables?

Alright guys. So these two sticks I can confirm are working with no issues. No lag that I can tell. We have a Venom PS3-PS4 and NES30 Arcade stick.

Unfortunately it will not let me map strong kick to the R2/RT button. I can only map it to L1/LB on the Mad Catz XBOX ONE TE2.

Got mine this week thanks to @djsheep, doesn't seem to work with my old Hori mini-fighting sticks which is a bummer, but I'll keep poking at that. Anyone have any details on the Guncon 3 support? That sounds... interesting.

Guncon 3 works by connecting the Guncon USB to the P1 port and the LED markers USB to the P2 port. The calibration seems to work best on Death Crimson OX on the Naomi but I'm hoping the other games can be improved in future firmware updates.

Has anyone tested the Iona with any steering wheels? I was thinking an Xbox One wheel might work as the Iona supports analogue controls on the Xbox One joypad.

I couldn't get Time Crisis 3 to boot with the Guncon 3 but this could just be my Namco 256 being difficult!
Time Crisis 3 isn’t compatible with the 256, it only works on the 246. Also, the game will boot with or without any I/O board detected.

Thanks for the extra info. I didn't realize Time Crisis 3 is a 246 exclusive!

I also have a 246C, so I'll try booting it again with that. I think that also displayed a black screen last time, but this may be due to using the ODE.

Hello,

I have a problem with my card.
I wanted to update it and I deleted everything.
The card is no longer recognized by my PC and it shows me error 28.
Can someone tell me how to reinject the driver of the card or the procedure so that I can do an update again.
The card is no longer recognized by my naomi and displays error I/O Board

When you set it to update mode, did you remove the bridged pins after?
