I have been trying Multi MVS on my MV1F boards. I have a MV1F and a MV1FS board. I have tried both stock bios and unibios. The MV1F has a rechargeable lithium battery and the MV1F has no battery. On both boards the system RAM has been previously wiped before installing Multi MVS Darksoft, it has been correctly updated following the instructions both in the Menu and in the latest Firmware. The power supply is the same. The MicroSD is a SanDisk Gold HC A1 U3 high speed original Sandisk. Edit: This not remomended micro SD model for Multi MVS.
1. Testing with MV1F is that Multi MVS almost never boots and it freezes trying to boot. In the unlikely event that it boots, I can choose games but when I move quickly through the menu, small lines appear at the top of the screen and in the menu text. If I stop browsing, the small lines disappear. If I'm lucky the Multi MVS boots up and I can choose games but none appear, it just stays on the green game start screen and restarts in a loop. I haven't been able to load any games on this MV1F with Multi Darksoft and instead all the original cartridges play perfectly. I wouldn't want to have received a version that isn't 100% compatible with the MV1F bases for some reason.
2. Try MV1FS. This always boots Multi MVS but still has the little lines in the menu when browsing. It allows me to load and play many of the games I've tried and others don't work at all like Galaxy Fight which when starting a fight it gets corrupted and resets so you can't play it. KOF 98 has audio issues because the music sound Rom loads other random songs and voices in the middle of the game which is annoying. Other games like Alpha Mission 2 have sound feedback on the drums and Blues Journey has the same issue giving a somewhat crackly sound. Some other games randomly lose the music and it doesn't come back until the next sound Rom load which is very annoying. When I load the second game load, be it one game or three regardless of their size, the Multi MVS freezes when checking or loading games which is frustrating because it forces me to turn the power supply off and on with no guarantee that it will load the next game or selected games again.
MV1F Motherboards they are my favorites.
