if you're building a custom cabinet or converting an existing one I think the easiest option would be to mount the spinner from the top side with the mounting plate counter-sunk into the top of the wood panel. like this:

though, in my opinion the better option would be to get a fresh piece of MDF for your control panel and then make a large cut out capable of supporting a candy-cab panel. Like Sega Did on Monkey ball, and some of the USA released games like Virtua Golf and Virtua Tennis:

if your cab can't fit a panel that large then you can always go with a Sega Aero Style panel instead.

Thats a more elegant solution for woodies I think, and it opens those cabs up to use all types of sega panels.

Thank you all for taking the time to reply. Very much appreciated.

I have two K7000s here waiting to be repaired and then used in something. My intention is to have two new wooden JAMMA cabinets made up at some point in the future, ideally with swappable panels. I suppose I could just get some metal panels made instead of wood. Although, I do intend on testing my wiring connector theories on my existing cabinet, so will be making some out of MDF anyway. Will definitely try both.

Thanks ever so much again guys.

The injection mold is almost completed
Injected some samples and it looks everything working as %95
There are some very very small modification needed. :)

We will release the spinner and control panel together very soon after complete all testing ;)

Hey all, A while back I started compiling a list of spinner games, as well as joystick games that were compatible with Brizzo's Spinner Board.
I've recently cleaned up this list and added some games. I'd encourage anyone to help make the list better so we have a solid list of games that these Capcom Spinners work with once it's released!

See this list here and use this thread to post suggestions for additions:

This is awesome @twistedsymphony
@Derick2k already made some tests and it works completely perfect. We will release the spinner pre-orders very soon.

I think we can share some videos to show how it works. Right @Derick2k :)

Ok, fair warning, I don't have streamers setup. I don't have 3 cameras, multiple mics, Audio/video capture or any of that stuff. So this is not that type of video. Although I wish I had a cool ass setup for streaming. Also, its probably the worst gameplay ever on this game. Lastly, I do not have Hursit's model hands. I made this quick video simply to show Hursit and another member that the repro spinner and PCB are working as they should. You have been warned, enjoy. :D

As you can see the spinner works as expected and makes this game a joy to play. The spinner fits perfectly in a vewlix CP.

Your first mistake was not buying the homing missile ;)
hahaha, I wasnt even paying attention to it, I was just excited of it acutally working. The game PCB had an issue on the spinner inputs which I successfully repaired, so this was the quick test for both the pcb and the spinner.

I have been playing the game more each day, and the homing missiles is the way to go. The spinner is working smooth even for a prototype repro. Cant wait to get the production run ones and set it up all properly in a cab. @hursit we are gonna need arts for the cabs.

impressive work guys !! holy shit.

feel free to use the artwork if you want :) @alberto1225 should have all my artwork already.
Thank you!

Your work on making your panels and restoration of original spinners and having played the original game with proper spinners over at @cpsystem3 place was really the driving force behind me persuing reproing these spinners. And of course the community as a whole for helping me acquire the needed pieces. And most all @hursit for making it possible, without him this project would not have gone forward. So a sincere thank you from me to all of you who have helped, even if it has been to just cheer us on.

Dont forget to give a round of applause to Hursit please, the man made this possible.

Expect preorders to open up within the next week or so.....

Minor update:

Happy to report I've been busy play-testing the spinner and can confirm it works beautifully.

I will be sending the spinner to @Darksoft as he is working on adding support for it to the CPS1 multi

I think @hursit is waiting to confirm new molds for the gears are 100% before opening preorders.
But, he will also be away for the next couple of weeks filming a movie so....expect a major update sometime after that.

Thank you for your patience and interest.
