You will need a KI1 disk as well, the KI2 drive will not work with a KI1 bootrom.

Of course, makes perfect sense. I knew it was a silly question!

Yes.
To my knowledge there is only on KI1 disk image available.

Yes, all the components i ordered are now in stock at the PCB manufacturer.
I have found one or two mistakes in the PCB design and i am now ready to order the new PCBs.
I will make the order next week after Christmas.

In the mean time i have sent a prototype to a forum member and i have received feedbacks and made some fixes.
Once the first batch of the final design is received and without major issues i will open pre-order and send to selected members beta testing kits.
