1) The only benefit is you will be able to play Street Fighter 2, since that is the game on that board
2) In order to change to CPS2 you will have to unplug and remove the CPS1 board and install the CPS2 board instead, this is not at all difficult, unplug one and unscrew it from the wooden mounting plate, screw the new one down, plug it in. It sounds like the Darksoft multi concept is causing confusion here
To make it more clear: You can only have 1 board set in the cabinet at a time.
3) NAOMI can still be played in your JAMMA cabinet with an adapter. As others have suggested this is a little bit more advanced however so the first step would be to get the cabinet working.
I remember when I got my first cab and wanted to start buying all the games I played in the arcade as a kid, but you need a cabinet working to play them in first
My suggestions when you do get it working and start looking into buying other games would be
1) Original is always better, a lot of people like the Pandora's Box things because they're convenient and for a lot of games they work ok, but there's nothing like the real thing
2) Research the prices that the game you want typically sells for. EBay is NOT a good price guide typically.
3) Know the potential pitfalls of the hardware you're looking at purchasing, you may love a game and really want it, but if it's known to have a lot of issues requiring constant attention (as 20-30 year old hardware sometimes can) and you can't repair it yourself, you could be spending a lot of money on something you're never going to be able to fully enjoy
4) Have a list of what you want and try to stick to it - pretty much everyone tries and fails at this at first, but eventually falls into a niche of games they really like and generally collect around that
5) Praise be to Darksoft and Mitsurugi
